Fiddler's Creek is a master planned community of nearly 4,000 acres that is still in its early phase. There are more than a couple dozen neighborhoods started, but by 2020 there are expected to be 100. Two-thirds of the land will be kept in its natural state. Currently the neighborhoods include upscale condominiums, villas and custom estate homes. A major attraction is the 18-hole Arthur Hills-designed private course. More golf will be added as the community grows. A focal point of the development is the l54,000 square foot clubhouse that serves a variety of menus and includes social activities and fitness facilities. The complex includes a “funplex” and lagoon-style swimming pool. Additional amenities include four lighted HydroGrid tennis courts, a nature park, and the Tarpon Club. Built on the edge of the Everglades, the community includes a full-service marina with wet and dry slips available for rent.
